Blue Angels in San Francisco

For those of you who have read Buck Danny, no need to explain who the Blue Angels are. For the others: it's the US Navy aerobatic team. They recently showed their skills at the annual air show held in San Francisco. Despite the long drive (for some reason the traffic was really bad that Sunday), it was really worth seeing them doing all kinds of incredible tricks... And with the Bay and the Golden Gate as a background it's even better!

Xterra Nevada

Finally some news and pictures ;-)

2 weeks ago we went to Lake Tahoe for the Xterra Nevada triathlon (750m swimming, 32Km mountain biking, 5Km cross-country running). Goéric and Cédric had signed up for it, and as you can certainly guess Maureen and I were supporters :-)

Goéric and Cédric participated in a "unique" Xterra since, believe it or not, it had snowed the night before. Unfortunately for us, we have been caught in that snow storm on our way up to Lake Tahoe, and we thought we would never get there. We finally managed to reach the hotel. After a short night, we discovered the starting point... and how cold the day would be! Nevertheless Goéric and Cédric did very well: 3h07'51 and 3h10'09. Maureen and I were proud! Goéric's only regret is that he was passed by the first women in the last few hundred meters 8-) ... You can read more details on Maureen and Cédric's blog.
